It has been about 24 months of Sundays since I typed that title for a post! A long, long time ago in the land of globbers, there was a group who posted on Mondays following a theme suggested by the host/hostess.
Then, Facebook came along and/or we all became busy with other things and our blogs were neglected.
But, lo and behold someone came up with the idea to maybe try to resurrect the idea and here we are !
I have tried to link those who might be joining in and will need help adding the ones who were left off the list. It was short notice, but hopefully someone will come up with a theme for next Monday, and we'll be off and running. Even if those linked below didn't participate, mosey on over to their place. Each one of them has something to say !
Please send me your URL's so you can be added if you played and aren't listed.

I think it was Sarah who suggested that today's theme be:
A Favorite Plant (in our house or yard or garden)
Any one of my plants that live longer than a couple of months is my favorite plant. But, today I'm choosing my Multiple Personality Thanksgiving/Christmas/Valentine Cactus.
HansMan bought it from a lady with AAUW (I think) several years ago for some kind of charitable fund drive. She called it a Christmas Cactus.
It was tiny. So tiny that it fit in the palm of my hand. When he brought it home, I said to myself, Self: this Christmas Cactus will be lucky if it's alive by April Fool's Day.
But it fooled me and in spite of my brown thumb, has survived.
For the last three years, it has bloomed every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and on Valentine's Day.
We aren't really sure exactly what kind of cactus it is, but it is a beautiful plant that we enjoy. In fact, HansMan bought another one several years later, and it usually blooms twice.
They are difficult to see, but the cactus is covered in buds.
It's buds are getting ready to burst open into full bloom.
These cactuses cacti have been planted in glass containers. Or some type of container that can be broken. When the plant gets root-bound, it is impossible to lift it out without damaging it. So we use a hammer to break the pot and then lift the plant into a new and larger one.
Happy Mon Funday, Ya'll.
