There are a few rules to follow for 'attending' a Today Show taping.
1) Find this corner and then follow the queue around a few other corners and down a couple or four blocks to find the end of the queue.
2) Never attend a taping when Bon Jovi is the guest. (These people had been on that corner since 7:00 p.m. the night before. Did you hear me ? I said THE NIGHT BEFORE !
3) Always have a sign. Preferably, a sign that stands out in the crowd.
4) Some people buy little folding chairs to sit on while waiting in the queue. But be advised, once you get to the entry, you are not allowed to take the little folding chair with you. BUT, if you're lucky, the little folding chair will still be there when you exit.
5) Other people decide not to listen to screaming Bon Jovi fans, and instead, go in search of Christmas trees.
Seriously, it is fun to make the effort to 'be in the crowd' even if you never make it to the front lines of The Today Show.
For us, we were more interested in hearing the story about this year's tree.
That story will follow... stay tuned.
And speaking of staying tuned...
Tonight...Wednesday, November 17, Ree Drummond, famously known as The Pioneer Woman, will make a Thanksgiving feast with all the fixings on Chef Bobby's Flay's Throwdown on the Food Network.
Don't miss it !
