By now, we are dripping in sweet, sugary, syrupy kisses from these two grandbabies. Oh, wait. Maybe it's because we had pancakes for breakfast...again !
Our first place to head to was Barnes and Noble. My favorite part of going to Barnes and Noble is the smell when you first walk in the door. That combination of the smell of books and coffee makes me delirious.
Little Miss P is thoroughly entranced with the Thanksgiving story being read to the group.
Baby Dub Ya is more interested in his toy.
But then he spots his Gammy. Do you know what it does to a Gammy's heart when her ten-month old grandson recognizes her from across the room ? Especially since it's been months since I've seen him.
Oh, the innocence of a child is all over this photo.
Time for arts and crafts.
Mommy has to help with the glue stick.
Because we need lots of glue.
Suitable for matting and framing.
Mommy peruses through the shelves and finds her favorite of all favorites.
Do you know what it does to a Mommy heart to see a scene like this ?
I hope my heart doesn't start melting all over your keyboard.
Any guesses as to what book they are reading ?
Our next stop was Cabela's. . . and the rest of the mall.
Just like magic, a box appeared at the front steps. It was decided that Little Miss P could open her Christmas gift from Pops and Gammy early.
Baby Dub Ya will wait for his gift.
But for now, he seems content with his Dallas Cowboy's football.
And loves all the kisses from his mommy.
Didn't we watch this movie in the van the other day ?
Yes, but now we Little Miss P wants to watch it in the theater room.
