A few Sights, Sounds, and Smells from New York City...ok, maybe just sights, but if you use your imagination, maybe, just maybe you can hear the church bells and smell the chestnuts roasting...and the police sirens, and people yelling for taxi cabs, and cars honking at some woman standing the middle of the street always looking up and taking pictures...
(Click it to big it) (That's a Ramblin' Pam instruction.)
There are bald men at Times Square...
...a brightly decorated street called Broadway...
...something called a black and tan...
...from here...
...beautiful old cathedrals next to very tall modern buildings ...(I know, I could have cropped the pic, but I like the man's head, the Manhattan bus, and the delivery truck.)
... a place just full of long-legged, high-kickin' women, who dress the same...
...a bald man and a mustaschioed man at the Rainbow Room...
...and other celebrities...
...people with metal strips on the bottom of their shoes sliding around on ice ...
...store windows with bird houses and women who can stand very, very still ...
...lots and lots of purses, that seem to have moved along the sidewalk with me...
...trash, a bicycle that's seen better days, and a woman who walked in front of me...
(see the yellow in the pic, that's one of the taxi cabs I dodged)
...another tall building, the very tip-top of a tree with a star, being watched by an angel...
...the same tree, without the top... (see above pic for top)
...and at night...ow-w-w, this one makes me sea sick...
...snowflakes in 70 degree weather...
... policemen...
...Santa...
...and a cowboy like none you've ever seen at Julie's, Ree's, Barngoddess', or Vicki's place...
...more buildings...
...ha...just checking to see if you're still with me and paying attention ...
...and this...("Just what are you smokin' , pencil shavings?" as JulieBug would ask.)
...if you scroll down really fast, this pic is pretty cool...
...a candle to light for our son-in-law, Ben, in Iraq...
...and hundreds of heroes...
...take a few seconds to remember all the heroes of 9-11...
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa...
...just have a nice day...
