But, I'll preface that with this:
If you saw the previous post, it's apparent that things at this house are topsy-turvy.
At least in the kitchen area. And the entire wooden floor. (5 rooms and a stairway)
So, basically, the entire first floor.
Contrary to popular belief, it was not a frozen, busted, unfrozen pipe.
When that happens, you get this:

Nope. Our problem had to do with a faulty thing-a-ma-jig that produced hot water at the sink.
Needless to say, when we replace our kitchen, our entire kitchen, one of those thing-a-ma-jigs probably won't be installed. Even though I LOVED that little gadget !
Replacing a kitchen was not on my list of things to do.
The past week has been filled with appointments, hauling home samples (wooden floor, tile, backsplash, soapstone, granite, cabinet doors), questions, decisions, and apprehension for when theHansMan returns home to learn about "The Plan."
"The Plan" will be shared in the next few days for your approval and to also help me convince theHansMan that it is, indeed, a "Good Plan."
It is at this point, there is a need for a segue to go from there to here:
There has been ample time spent at the computer this week researching appliances and other things that go into a kitchen. Which means I had to sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time in one spot. (This is difficult for me.) There is a TV close by, so to practice my 'multi-tasking' skills it was on and I listened to it. (There are very few TV shows that are watched from start to finish in this house.)
Back to the title/subtitles.
