As told by Parker:
I am at a Salida, Colorado, hotel and I am eating breakfast in bed eating oatmeal.
We are at a very small Farmer's Market in Gunnison, Colorado.
Pops is teaching me how to tell if a watermelon is ripe or not.
Now I am thumping the watermelon.
I am standing in front of some riestras and we bought three.
My gammy is letting me buy some rocks and this rock is an Apache Tear and it is very cool.
When you put it in front of light, you can see the tear.
We are in the van on the way to Pops' and Gammy's house and I am holding up the rocks.
Pops is a geologist and he is going to teach me all about them.
We are at Pops' and Gammy's house and it is night time and here is a beautiful sunset.
That is Pops' and Gammy's dog, Lola Cherry Cola.
When we got here, we were very tired because it took us sixteen hours to get here.

What fun! Nothing like grandparents! Have a wonderful time! I know you will 'cause Gammy and Pops will make sure!!!

The rocks, the rocks! Thanks for reminding me what not to let him buy this year! Parker - terrific job commenting on your trip. I am so glad that you are having a good time - and that you don't have to share Gammy and Pops for a little while. Every once in a while, it's nice to be the only kid.
