Because of a 'beach bum' attitude, the next few posts will be re-runs.
We arrived on February 1, 2012 . . . to the same room with a view . . .
Just a little bit of paradise today . . . same as it was it the last time we were here:
Hello from the Land of Sunshine and Sand
We arrived too late for dinner at the Lol Ha Restaurant, so the Beach Bar was our first destination.
Who knew . . .
. . . this game would be televised here, and we could enjoy chips, pico de gallo, margs, and football ?
Home Sweet Home for a few days.
I love the quaintness of this place.
No All Inclusive Glitzy-Fal-Da-Ra for us.
Upon entering our room, it was apparent someone else had reservations here, too.
His name is Gilbert.
Or George.
Or something that starts with a G.
Here.
Less is more.
Simple.
Elegance.
Adding a red pareo and some Christmas lights make the room a bit more festive for the HollyDaze.
These colors happen about 6:00 every morning, and within just a few seconds. . .
. . . turn into this.
The vista toward the other direction is just a breath taking.
He's thinking . . .
"Today's the Day"
. . . as he looks. . .
. . . at the views . . .
. . . from our breakfast table.
We are joined by Ticopo.
This dog stayed right at my feet during the entire meal, and was up, off and running as soon as the waiter took my plate, to join someone else who had just been served.
HansMan's favorite place at the resort.
Not sure what the nooses are for.
Maybe for pirates.
A bit of sand art on the beach. . .
My favorite room in the entire hotel...up there . . .
. . . his favorite place to be off to . . .
This is just great.
The captain of the boat and his dive master are clowns . . .
No worries.
I have this to enjoy . . .
. . . and this, too.
No, you're not cornfoosed.
He's headed out again for a second dive today.
This time with a former Navy Seal, and . . .
. . . this good looking young man.
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Goodnight.

Enjoy yourself in Paradise! Its windy and freezing here!!!

Swampy---I've been out in the cold most of the day---I had to heat a bag of rice to try to warm my feet back up. You are mean to post such things.....(hope you are having a time as wonderful as it looks!!!)

JANIS: Sorry. It was in the upper 80's today.
PUPPYSITTER: We are having a great time...sorry about the rice thing.

Aw... Ticopo's got his/her act down, doesn't she? How did you resist (or did you?)?
I'm not a water girl - I'd rather sit on the beach or explore or sit on a veranda with a good book. The scenery though, should be exemplary!
