The HansMan and I have made our annual trek to New York City...
Here are just a few of the photos taken today:
Our friend and chauffeur, retired New York City Policeman and Firefighter, Bill ! Please note he is highly decorated with various medals bestowed upon him for, among other things...being A Turtle !
Are you a turtle ?
Not a bad photo considering it was taken from the back seat of the car moving right along in the NYC traffic.
The Algonquin Hotel...Home Sweet Home of. . .
. . . Matilda ! HERE is HER STORY.
The flags of Rockefeller Center.
Home of the Rockettes. We never tire of watching this production !
We were lucky enough to watch part of the Veterans' Day Parade. There will be more photos of this event to follow.
To all the Veterans out there...THANK YOU !
We are off to see Mama Mia this evening and then hopefully, roll out of bed early enough to stand in line and be part of The Today Show crowd Friday morning AND possibly Saturday morning.
See you in the funny papers...

How exciting! My heart was pounding just looking at your photos, I don't care for travel that much but NYC is one place I would love to visit.
And how weird, I am reading Patricia Neal's autobiography and just this afternoon I was reading her mention that very hotel. Off to check out the cat's story and google the hotel.

Yes. We are in this Bon Jovi crowd with the rest of humanity. Just watch for my sign like the one in the post below...You won't see me, but my sign shows up. We plan to go back Saturday morning. I will either have on a black coat or a blue hoodie that says, "Survivor Chick" (yellow chicken with pink ribbon)
