Nope. But that fourth version grew in the 60s!

That's an Acanthus (also known as Bear's Breeches.) A truly stunning plant. It comes in two versions - one with floppy leaves (Acanthus Mollis) and one with spiny leaves (Acanthus Spinosa). Go for the spiny variety, because it is slug and snail proof. ;)

Nope, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who plays with photo actions just for the heck of it.

It certainly is beautiful! I like the glow in the dark version!

SANDY: I wondered if anyone would accuse me of hallucinating.
KATE: Wow ! Thank you for the info. I knew some reader would know.
HULAHOOP: Yeah, like I have the time to do that.
CHURCHLADY: I like that one, too, but the "hippie" version is my favorite.

I'm behind---busy day...and my comments are taken or irrelevant. I was going to say "Acid Flower", and perhaps throw in a sweet note about staying away from the brown acid (Woodstock).....and then for the "real" name I would have been totally stumped, but see that has already been very well covered.

What a beautiful flower! I'm not sure what it's called though. Love the cool effects!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day.

your link was messed up over there at WW.
but I knew how to find you anyway...
glad someone knew that flower. I worked with a guy that always answered "A long stemmed pansy." That would have been my guess, too. ah
