Dear Cold Stone Creamery...
...we love your ice cream !
Bubba: "I don't think my tongue is long enough for that last lick."
June Bug: "You should've ordered yours in one of these cups."
June Bug: "Notice how easy it is to retrieve every last lick."
Bubba: "Hey, this isn't fair."
Bubba: "Please Bug, let me have just one little lick?"
Bubba: "Come on, Bug. Please."
Bubba: "Save one lick for me."
Bubba: "Bug, I'll let you play with my Elmo if you let me have the last lick."
Bubba: "Aw, gee thanks, Bug. I just love butter-pecan. Now, go play with my Elmo."
June Bug: "Hey, Bubba. Elmo tastes like chicken."
Bubba: "Aw Man."

I've often wanted to lick out the container like that! But I probably wouldn't look as cute ;)

I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for...Bubba or Elmo!!!!!!
VERY cute series of pictures!!! Makes me want some ice cream!!!
Next time get Bubba his own cup of ice cream, PLEASE! Tell him it's from me!
Poor Elmo! Thankfully Poncho is pretty much past the stage of disemboweling toys.

I was just reading WT's comments. Hope Bubba is feeling better. You really have had just a crapshoot of a couple of weeks, haven't you? Hope it gets better.

I when I scrolled to the next post and yours came up, for a split second I thought it was one of mine! That one of Bubba looks just like Buddy.
I hope he's doing ok after his surgery.

The last time someone in your household had ice cream from Cold Stone (a remarkable and delicious example of frozen cream) the superior lactose ingredients produced a somewhat suspect odor wafting from your boxers. It could not have been me, I was asleep.... NLM

I just finally tracked down the comment on WT's blog about Bubba. I'm very worried. What happened??? Is he ok? Are you? What surgery??? What happened??? What is going on with my sweet Bubba??? Please update when you can.
P.S. on a lighter note...I can second NLM's comment...it's not just Cold Stone...your boxers do tend to "waft" in their sleep! But they are so cute they are forgiven!

Bubba Update: Bubba was scheduled to have two "warts" removed with using just a local anesthetic. Another suspicious growth was checked last week and when aspirated, showed some cancer cells. The vet said to watch it for any change. He aspirated it again yesterday and there were many more cells just in a matter of days, so he had put him in la la land and removed it. He also took out several cysts from inside his mouth. We made it through the night with lots of neck warmers on his feet and legs because his temp dropped so much. But, he is drinking and eating today. Not sure about the prognosis on if there are clean lines around where the tumor was removed or not. Will find out those results later.

I'd beg for Stone Cold Creamery ice cream too....butter pecan.... Our dog is a schnauzer and he loves ice cream but he gets it all over his beard, so we get the short cup for him, too.

Thanks for the update...The first thing I said to Poncho this morning was, "Let's go see if Bubba is ok!" I feel much better now! Tell him to quit scaring you (and me) like that!

Hugs and big wet canine kisses to Bubba!!!
And DANG that was quick work on disemboweling Elmo. (You know I can NEVER let Bethany see this post!!)

I will send Bubba a talking Elmo that says "Elmo Loves You" It scares the crap out of Toddler, and creeps me out. It looks like Bubba could use him though.
Have you tried the doggie ice cream? They sell it at Albertson's here and it I think is called Frosty paws. It comes in the old fashioned plastic cups that the orange/vanilla swirl came in with the wooden spoons. The pugs go insane for it, and they don't get diahrrea from it like they do with real ice cream.
Keep us posted on the big guy!!
