A Wedding Dress Mantra
How many people does it take to get the bride into her wedding dress?
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can get into this dress.
O-M-M ...
U-H-M-M...Maybe I should have put this on BEFORE doing my make-up and hair.
Kneel and repeat after me, "I can do this. I can do this. I can do this."
"Is there a zipper? Is there a zipper? Where is the zipper?"
"Did this come with instructions?"
"Hold your breath...don't blink...smile."
"I think I'm claustrophobic. I will not panic. I will not panic. I will not panic."
You better not let her see you laugh.
Does this picture make you smile?
You know she's still a little girl because Sponge Bob in on their TV.
You can breathe now. B-R-E-A-T-H-E !
She's gorgeous. Even if she is mine...She's gorgeous !
Which of the last two do you like best?

Wow! She looks stunning! Oh, I wish I still had a figure like that!. All the pictures look lovely, but I love the last one the best. I was laughing while watching the first pictures emerge and wondering whether she may be chanting "I must not run away, I must not run away".
I really love the dress. My baby sis is getting married in a few weeks and her dress has a gazillion lace holes in the back which have to be tied. I think it will take three hours just to get her laced up.

I prefer the colour one. She looks like she's praying that she can get into the dress without smudging it.

yes she sure is gorgeous, how very proud you must be. the dress is beautiful, i prefer the first one, no the second one, no the first one, gosh what a hard decision have them both!

Hey BlogBuds ! Just checking in with you with a ((group hug)) this morning. Am off to the balloon races with my camera attached to me, hoping to get some great pics to share.
Maybe I'll have time to come visit you sometime this afternoon when we have a break from all this work.
You are great to ALWAYS stop by.

I said it before I will say it again she is absolutely beautiful!! Wonderful photos again! Loved the chanting commentary!! Too funny! I still LOVE that dress!
The sepia tone one is my favorite...makes it look like it could have been taken in the 1800's...or something like that!

You're right. She is gorgeous.
Great pictures.
I like the first (of the last two) the best.

Swampy, that first picture is one of the sexiest pictures I've ever seen! You need to frame it and give it to your new son-in-law! Maybe even make a poster print out of it...wowza!
BTW, I like the sepia, too, although both are beautiful in their own right.

In checking my site meter, I noticed a 'hit' from Italy...just wondering if that could be the honeymooners. H-m-m-m! I mean O-m-m-m-m, in keeping with today's title.

She is indeed gorgeous. I like the naturally colored one best. Your photographic skills amaze me.

I love the last one. It's timeless (meaning, even if it fades, no one will notice). She is absolutely lovely and your post is hilarious!

Absolutely beautiful...gorgeous! I like the last shot the best...just stunning.
I wish I had a photo of me like the first photo - but I don't think I've EVER been that thin! She is beautiful!

That dress is beautiful, and yes, so is the lady inside it.
Okay - if I remember correctly, my wedding dress was a "step-in" - I didn't have to put it on over my head.

Just beautiful! Wonderful pictures!

Gorgeous! How stunning. I like the sepia one best, I think.
My dress was thankfully a step-in; it took three of my sisters about 10 minutes to do up the 28 buttons ... and my new husband took about three seconds to undo them later that night! Hahahahaha ... the scoundrel!

Good grief, he just said there weren't 28 buttons, there were 37! Who knew he was counting?? And it still only took him about three seconds.

Oh, Dear Swampy! Thanks.
I love the picture of the bride and SpongeBob.
And the first picture in natural color---her coloring, the light, the dress...all come together for that perfect picture.
Oh, yes, and I covet those shoes.
Really, really covet them.
(dreaming of the pair of Fluevogs that I will get for myself when I get my master's!!!)

I totally agree with Robin (up there).
I like the sepia one.

She is stunning!
